Vocational Training in Germany – Your Path to Career Success

With FLCS by your side every step of the way

Germany’s dual vocational training system is one of the most successful education models in the world—and a great way to start a qualified and stable career. Each year, thousands of young people choose to pursue an apprenticeship in one of over 300 officially recognized professions, ranging from healthcare and hospitality to technical and skilled trades. At FLCS, we support young international talents on their journey to vocational training in Germany—professionally, personally, and reliably.

What is Dual Vocational Training?

The dual system combines practical work in a company with theoretical education in a vocational school. That means:

  • You work at a company and learn your profession through hands-on experience.
  • At the same time, you attend vocational school where you acquire theoretical and technical knowledge.
  • The training usually lasts between 2 and 3.5 years.

At the end, you take an official final examination, earning a recognized qualification that significantly increases your chances in the job market.

Why Choose Vocational Training in Germany?

✅ Paid training – You receive a monthly training salary

✅ Strong career prospects – Many trainees are hired after graduation or continue to higher education
